Last week approximately 300 athletes from several states gathered to compete for a spot on the Junior Olympic Team. The event was held over a three day period and consisted of 3 Super G/Downhill races, 3 Giant Slalom races, and 3 Slalom races.
We are happy to report that the following Ausblick athletes qualified for a spot on the team. Jack Bourdo, Kyle Rasmussen, Mack Cerny, Cade Dries (1st alternate), Sydney Rogers, Danielle Holt, Molly Ogden, Tyler Cummings, Jack Brooks, Maddie Sorenson, Teagan Hipp, and Abbey Lauterbach.
Additionally, five Ausblick athletes earned overall top ten rankings in their respective age classes. They are: Jack Bourdo, Sydney Rogers, Tyler Cummings, Maddie Sorenson, and Teagan Hipp.
We wish them all good luck as they head out to compete in the Junior Olympics, in Vail and Winter Park, in the next couple of weeks!
